About the Role
As our News Reporter, you will:
Write news alerts and news summaries accurately, quickly and with high standards of credibility, in accordance with Reuters principles and operating standards
Identify market-moving figures and comments to filter out news stories from sources including electronic news releases, conferences calls, Webcasts
Explain reasons behind stock moves in form of short stories
Write short alerts and stories on Austrian, German and Swiss macroeconomic data such as GDP and inflation
Write breaking-news stories focused on German, Austrian, and Swiss companies
About You
To be our News Reporter, you will likely have:
Fluency in English and advanced German
Comfort with handling financial data and facts accurately and quickly
Ability to write with speed, clarity, accuracy and freedom from bias
A sound command of grammar, spelling, punctuation
An ability to work under time pressure
Willingness to undertake shifts
Openness to emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools for news verification, data analysis, and content creation, to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving media landscape

For Poland, the base compensation range for this role is 72,800 PLN - 135,200 PLN. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
