This position is for an Sr Analyst, New Product Introduction professional. Executes new program sourcing strategies while ensuring alignment with commodity strategies and low cost sourcing plans for sustainable supply chain development. Responsible for implementing plans to ensure the new product sourcing strategy is in alignment with desired program outcomes. The New Product Introduction role will read across all aspects of supply chain competencies, providing an excellent proving ground for motivated individuals with interest in building a strong base within Collin's supply chain organizations. Success in this role is defined by forging strong supplier relationships, strong supplier contracts, taking ownership of the development process with a strong technical aptitude, and flawless execution to program and organizational goals.
What You Will Do:
This individual will be expected to communicate to all levels of the organization, manage procurement activities through initial phases of product development (proposal & preliminary design) and validate new program business case proposals.
Take new programs through the development life cycle while working in an Integrated Product Team structure.
Integrate with Supply Management and leverage the Commodity Strategies to maximize the impact of new programs for cost reduction without compromise to quality.
Directly interface with Senior Management within the business unit customers (Program Managers, etc.) and serve as the link between the program and the supply chain organization.
Drive compliance to procurement procedures within the working team in order to develop and execute standard work within the Procurement for development program.
Demonstrate understanding of Global logistics including import/export requirements
Adhere to all EH&S regulations and policies, as well as attend required training courses related to EH&S.
Executes new program sourcing strategies while ensuring alignment with commodity strategies and Low Cost Sourcing plans for sustainable supply chain development.
Implements corrective action plans to ensure the new product sourcing strategy is in alignment with desired program outcomes.
Maintains standard work for consolidated programs, sourcing strategies and execution methodology.
Coordinates cross-business unit part family studies and standardized sourcing classifications.
Coordinates supplier capacity studies addressing key cross-program commodities/suppliers.
Maintains compliance of sourcing plans through Strategic Sourcing Review Board.
Engages with members of the business unit product and development engineering teams to ensure that lead times are understood.
Part of and supports Supply Chain matters within Integrated Product Teams.
Selects source for new products in line with commodity sourcing strategy.
Develops supply chain plans and quality management measures for new products.
Executes value analysis of new product supply chain operations.
Monitors and manages scope in purchasing the new products.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Project/Program Management Experience, ideally in an Engineering/Operations/Supply Chain Management related environment
Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Proven experience in Microsoft Suite (word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Successful record of managing to plan and achieving customer satisfaction
Cost Sensitivity and business judgement with proven bottom line results
Strong negotiation and communications skills
Experience with Electronics Commodity / Suppliers is beneficial
SAP proficiency is desired
