The Marketing Division leads the brand, creative, marketing, and membership initiatives across the Rakuten Group, which offers over 70 services. Our mission is to enhance membership value and expand the ecosystem of the Rakuten Group.

Department Overview

Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.

The mission of the Business Incubation Section is to plan and develop new services and businesses for the next several years, and to establish unique contract acquisition methods through collaboration with external parties.

Position Details

You will be responsible for growing the “Agency Planning”, which has just been launched.After familiarizing yourself with the business and building relationships with related parties, you will take on the challenge of developing new business.

Agency Planning
- Alliance with language schools and VISA support companies to increase the number of contracts with foreign residents in Japan
- Alliance with insurance agencies to increase the number of contracts with senior citizens.
- Planning new agency projects

New business development
- Identify issues facing society, partner companies, and users.
- Planning of services and measures that lead to solutions to issues
- Execution and verification of PoC
- Planning and operation of expansion plans

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in sales or practical experience in business consulting

- Business experience in both Japanese and English

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in business development

- Experience in planning proposals, solution proposals, and consulting sales - Experience in project management

- Experience in negotiating and coordinating with diverse stakeholders

- Team building skills Ability to adapt flexibly to changing situations

- Skills in PowerPoint and Excel
