At Tufts Medicine, you’ll make an impact and build your career, supported by a community of brilliant, compassionate colleagues. Every single person at Tufts Medicine plays an integral role in building a holistic healthcare experience that’s accessible, empowering and, most of all, human.
The Department of Neurology is seeking a Neuro-Oncologist to join our team at Tufts Medical Center.
You will be responsible for expanding a comprehensive Neuro-Oncology Service at Tufts Medical Center, delivering the highest quality, multidisciplinary care for patients with primary and metastatic tumors of the central nervous system (outpatient and inpatient consults). This includes the diagnosis and management of glioblastoma, lower-grade gliomas, brain metastases, leptomeningeal disease, meningiomas, primary CNS lymphomas, and other neuro-oncologic conditions such as paraneoplastic syndromes and neurological complications of cancer, while integrating advances in molecular diagnostics, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and clinical trials. As your practice of neuro-oncology ramps up, you may need to do some general neurology.
You will collaborate closely with Neurosurgery, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, Palliative Care, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care across the continuum—from diagnosis through survivorship and supportive care.
