The Opportunity:
CACI’s Digital & Enterprise Solutions (D&ES) Sector is seeking a multi-disciplined Network Engineer (Intermediate) in support of the Army Comprehensive Modernization program. From conducting site surveys to implementing innovative designs, you’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. Responsibilities:

  • Multi-disciplined network engineer with experience in assessing, designing, engineering, maintaining and fixing wired and wireless network solutions Provides touch labor for all network devices.

  • Establishes Network information requirements using analysis of the Network engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, LAN, WAN).

  • Assists with designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

  • Ensures Network systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the network layers

  • Ensures network/transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.

  • Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows and network usage, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.

  • Communicates clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and presents products and ideas in a business-like manner.


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance

  • Technical bachelor’s degree + at least 5 years of relevant experience (HS diploma or associate degree with 10+ years of Network Engineer experience may be considered in lieu of technical bachelor’s degree)


Desired:

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • ITIL or ITSM experience

  • Experience supporting US Army and local installation environments

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
