This position is accountable for all aspects of optimization of the existing base of access / type II circuits. You'll also be responsible for forecasting and reporting against financial targets and project goals. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge and specialized depth of expertise in type II ordering with external vendors, vendor pricing platforms, and electronic and manual order entry through vendor portals and interfaces.
Responsibilities
Identify network related expenses that can be reduced or eliminated in addition to access planning and complete project management of circuit grooming projects
Work with and project manage internal groups including ISP, OSP, Engineering, Accounts Payable, NCC, Grooms Technicians, Site Tech’s, and Service Delivery Coordinators, as well as work through their processes to push project through to completion
Take lead of internal and external teams and may be a lead or POC for projects
Work with customer-related contacts to coordinate projects and see them through to completion while maintaining a positive customer relationship
Vendor billing reconciliation and dispute identification
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, other related financial or technical field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five (5) years' experience working on complex, innovative projects/networks
Expert knowledge of Type II / Off-net ordering systems and processes with multiple vendors including CLEC’s & ILEC’s
In depth understanding of telecommunications service life cycle and data correlation from order through design to billing
Knowledge of SONET, DS3/DS1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, Wavelength, IP, & Ethernet, Live Media networks and products
Experience in Access Planning, Capacity Planning, Circuit Design, and Billing Reconciliation
Excellent working knowledge of M6, Salesforce, and TEOCO
Strong project management and communication skills
Experience in cost/benefit analysis, and Ad Hoc reporting, as needed
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Demonstrated investigational and problem solving skills - able to solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify solutions
Excellent analytical judgment and decision making skills with the ability to adapt to change
Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively
High energy individual with a strong work ethic

Estimated base salary range: $77,100 - $118,600 USD/annually
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
