Provide first level support on both network outages and network-related projects. You will be accountable for daily network activities, such as those related to incident and change management, to ensure end user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs. You will report to the Network Engineering Team
Requirements
Years’ Experience: 3+ years of network troubleshooting
Education: Bachelor's Degree,
Tools: SolarWinds Orion and Remedy (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
Certifications: CCNA, Fortinet FW, Palo Alto firewall & Cisco FTD, SDWAN
Should be proficient in written and spoken English.
Good hands-on router, switches, Firewall, proxy etc
Should have good knowledge and hands on exp on Cisco router, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Forti, Palo Alto)
Should have deep understanding for packet capture tools and should be able to analyze them
Should have good understanding of Cisco Nexus, BGP,OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, PBR, VPC, VRF, QOS troubleshooting etc.
Additional Requirements:
Should be ready for 24*7 shift including night shifts
Should be available 24*7 to provide oncall support if needed
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and fixing P1/P2 global incidents & RCA
Troubleshoot P3/P4 daily incidents tickets
RMA from TAC- Replacement (Vendor Management to make sure tickets are moving along as needed
Assists in monitoring and adjusting LAN/WAN performance in SolarWinds, as necessary, to ensure LAN/WAN integrity and performance.
Network related client maintenance request
Vendor maintenance (Sprint, ATT, Vodafone, TATA, Globe, PLDT etc.)
Should be available 24*7 to provide oncall support
Should be good in change management & RCA process
Works independently, may coach and train other junior professionals
Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.
