JOB SUMMARY
Processes ERCOT’s Network Operations Model Change Request (NOMCR), Collaborative Action Model Request (CAMR), Resource Services Change Request (RSCR) and develop graphical representations of these Change Requests in the EMS. Applies skills, knowledge and work experience to conduct ERCOT’s NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR process in order to ensure an accurate and up-to-date Network Operations Model. Coordinates the NOMCRs, CAMRs, RSCRs, and one-line displays within the Network Model Group and other ERCOT departments. Coordinates day to day model and one-line creation schedule. Creates and maintains the EMS one-line diagrams.

Analyzes submitted NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR data
Coordinates NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR process flow internal and external to ERCOT
Updates Production and Future one-line diagrams as required by the Protocols
Facilitates Market Participant model data issues
Helps coordinates case creation schedules
Coordinates and works with the data stakeholders on data exchange and transmission network model maintenance via the NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR process
Attend and observes the NDSWG meetings
Works with generation resources external to ERCOT on GenMaps for EPS metering purposes
Works closely with ERCOT System Operations, System Operations Support, Market Operating Services Support, Client Services, Metering and other ERCOT internal departments regarding models, one-line diagrams, and model data
Utilizes data mining mechanisms
Level 2 and 3 - Above +
Resolves Market Participant model data issues
Represents Network Modeling Group at NDSWG meetings and other meetings as needed
Creates and utilizes data mining mechanisms and makes update requests for improvements
Analyzes submitted NOMCR, CAMR, and RSCR data and provides rapid and effective response to customer requests, both internal and external
Verifies that the Network Model is ready for use in the various operations applications whenever changes or updates to the model are made
EXPERIENCE:
Analyst 2 requirements
Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent industry experience
Analyst 3 requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience or equivalent industry experience
Ideal candidate will have some industry (Utility or ISO) exposure. Basic excel and SQL skills.
Salary and level will be based on overall experience as determined by ERCOT.
EDUCATION
Associate's Degree (preferred)
or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
WORK LOCATION:
This position is Hybrid. Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at least 2-3 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.
Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time
