Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support enterprise and mission network infrastructure for a defense program in Oahu, Hawaii.  This position is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining routed and switched network environments supporting classified and unclassified systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, understands DoW cybersecurity requirements, and can operate effectively in a mission-critical environment supporting operational forces in the Indo-Pacific region. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical leadership in the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of network-wide solutions.
  • Develops and implements physical and logical communications strategies, incorporating digital encoding formats, line codes, and timing concepts.
  • Applies deep subject matter expertise to resolve complex network challenges, designing specialized solutions to meet voice, data, and image communication requirements.
  • Prepares comprehensive schematics and workprints to define and illustrate network structures and designs while evaluating corporate network demands to provide and implement scalable media solutions.
  • Collaborates with team members, customers, and vendors to define and influence technical solutions, including product modifications and enhancements.
  • Plans, designs, and implements network management systems to monitor, diagnose, and control network performance across multiple communication networks.
  • Recommends and develops network administration systems to ensure accurate inventory management and timely project implementation.
  • Participates in marketing proposals and studies, providing technical input, costing models, and reports for high-level, enterprise-wide network projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in network engineering or related technical fields.
  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance. TS Preferred

The likely salary range for this position is $96,569 - $130,651. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
