We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in LAN/WAN environments. This role demands someone with extensive technical skills, a proven track record in network architecture and management, and the necessary security clearances to work on sensitive projects.
Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
Design, architect, install, configure, implement, migrate, and maintain complex network systems.
Develop and implement network security protocols.
Network Management and Maintenance:
Configure and troubleshoot Virtual Networks, VLANs, VxLAN, and VRF.
Test and maintain network infrastructure, including software and hardware devices.
Monitor network capacity and performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark.
Security and Compliance:
Mitigate network vulnerabilities using STIG viewer to ensure information is safeguarded.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide checklists/STIGs.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide Level 2/3 technical support for network connectivity issues, traffic management, and performance optimization.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems.
Documentation and Training:
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Document network configurations, architectures, and results.
Qualifications:
Required:
Clearance: An active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience: 5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer, with a focus on analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Alternatively, five (2) years of additional Network Security engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
Certifications: Must meet DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level III and possess at least three of the following vendor certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), Sonicwall Network Security Administrator (SNSA), Sonicwall Network Security Professional (SNSP), Symantec ProxySG 6.7 Technical Specialist, or Cisco CCNA or higher.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
