Job Description
Job Summary:
The primary role of the Network Engineer is to provide planning, design, implementation, operation, and support of secure, enterprise-scale network infrastructures. This role focuses on maintaining high-performance, mulit-platform, and multi-system networks while proactively diagnosing performance issues and implementing improvments. The Network Engineer ensures network availability, reliability, and security in mission-critical environments and provides technical leadership in complex network operations.
Positions Responsibilities:
Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
Install, configure, and maintain CISCO routing and switches platforms, including Cisco 7600, 6500, and 3750 series devices.
Develop and translate network security requirements and policies into detailed device configurations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security.
Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
Manage and support Cisco ASA firewalls, VPN technologies, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network management tools.
Design and implement enterprise-level ISP-level backbone network to support mission-critical operations.
Lead and guide small technical teams inresolving complexnetwork and infrastructure problems.
Provide technical direction for the operation, configuration, Optimization, and maintenance of network devices.
Ensure network environments meet security, compliane, and operational requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years experience in network engineering, including routing, switching, and network security.
Extensive experience supporting enterprise-scale and secure network environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network and security technologies
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and resolve complex network issues.
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Salary Range: $150,000 - $265,000

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
