Network Service Manager / Architect
 
Would you like a challenge to apply your skills and experience in a global corporate network environment? As a Network Service Manager & Architect in FLSmidth, you will be part of the Global IT Infrastructure team focusing on supporting and developing the digital initiatives and requirements from the business by building, maintaining and improving the global Infrastructure. 
 
About The Team 
 
The Global Network team is to be placed evenly in Monterrey (Mexico), Chennai (India) & Bucharest (Romania) - Managed out of Bucharest (Romania). The scope is to take care of the network in our 100+ locations worldwide. In the future the ‘Hands on’ will be taken care of by Managed Service Providers and you will therefore be designing to support the Business needs and to manage the Service Providers. You’ll be heading projects from a Network perspective and work dedicated with the whole IT Infrastructure Team. 
 
More About You 
 
Your educational background is secondary to your practical experience. Your track record reflects experience from similar positions in other companies, in which you have acquired extensive, hands-on, experience working with Infrastructure in a global perspective. 
 
You have a structured approach in your work, and experience managing project plans and working with the team to get things done and deliver on time. You are a skilled communicator with fluent English, able to engage easily with the team, the business around the globe and our suppliers. You’ll be traveling a bit in this role but no more than 20 days per year. 
 
You have in-depth knowledge of and practical experience with the following: 

  • Network Service Management 

  • Vendor Management 

  • Firewalls – configuration and management 

  • SASE and Cloud security 

  • General Routing, especially BGP 

  • DNS 

  • LAN (wired & wireless) campus environments 

  • WAN 

  • Network segmentation 

  • Identity Services Engine 

Knowledge on network automation is a plus, but not a must. There will be training on the job.
