This key contributor role will work with all regional network team to design, install and maintain network services. These services include but are not limited to routers, switches, DNS/DHCP, wireless, and Radius/TACACS. Each region will assigned specific hospitals and remote offices to support.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work with the Director, IT Infrastructures - Network Services and Managers, IT Infrastructures - Network Operations to design, plan and install network services for BILH. (essential)

2. Provide level 3 support of layer 2 and layer 3 routers, switches. (essential)

3. Provide level 3 support of wireless controllers and access points. (essential)

4. Provide level 3 support of appliances dealing with DHCP, DNS, Radius and TACACS (essential)

5. Work with other IT Teams on projects and assist with resolving issues, as assigned. (essential)

6. Assist with mentoring Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers. May be required to on-call as required by the Director, IT Infrastructures - Network Services to support projects or major issues. (essential)

7. Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams. (essential)

8. Maintain databases for items such as equipment inventory, circuit ids, pictures and IP addressing. (essential)

9. Upgrade all network equipment operating systems for security and increased functionality. (essential)

10. Monitor all equipment and data circuits assigned to the region. (essential)

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

2. Certificate 1 Cisco Certified Network Professional preferred.

3. More than 10 years related work experience required in in network design, installation and support.

4. Minimum of 10 years supporting and configuring network equipment running at layer 2 and 3.

5. Minimum of 10 years supporting routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP and EIGRP. Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience supporting Brocade network equipment Experience performing advanced wireless planning and support

 

 

Pay Range:

$120,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
