Role Description:
The Net Capital Working Lead proactively provides support to senior management, as well as RRPS Board Memebers and RR counter parts of RRPS’s strategic financial planning exercises.
They actively participate in preparation of budget planning and forecast for the NWC components :receivables, down payments, payable and inventory.
The Net Capital working Leader analyses overdue balances, leads initiatives to reduce them, and delivers regular reports and insights to support stakeholder decision making.
Key responsibilities
Operational Delivery:
• Coordinates and supervises day-to-day prioritizing of tasks, balancing workload across the team.
• Recognizes unusual transactions, trends, or variations and communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a timely and effective fashion
• Proactively recognizes problems within scope of responsibilities, identifies options and implement solutions.
• Provides operational support to the team for any day-to-day task.
Performance Management and CI
• Drives team and process performance through data driven insights
• Coordinates, develops and maintains documentation on projects and team assignments
• Supports Projects including Process re-designing / Process Standardization / Process Optimization
• Ensures that process documentation, Process flow and updating on regular and Timely basis
• Drive automation and process optimization
Stakeholder Management
• Provides clear, concise, and regular updates to all identified stakeholders, both internal and external, and leadership. Drives operational governance.
• Coordinates efforts across different departments to address inter-departmental issues and collaborate to deliver the best service experience.
Escalation Management
• Monitors team performance in handling escalations and provide coaching to improve proficiency.
• Takes lead in resolving the issues and bring in controls to avoid the occurrence of the issue.
• Investigates the underlying causes of escalations to identify systemic issues and prevent their recurrence.
• Provides timely reporting of issues to relevant stakeholders
Risk, Compliance & Controls
• Tracks and manages business risk and opportunities
Team Management:
• Mentors and provides Guidance to peers and other team members
• Shares learnings and insights across departments
Key responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in finance & accounting
• 10+ years’ experience in a GBS or BPO setting
• CA, CPA, ACCA, ACT qualification or progress toward certification would be an advantage
• Expert knowledge of end-to-end Cash Management processes and related accounting
• Excellence in analysis/budget planning/ NCW reporting
• Expert in tracking and managining business risks and opportunities
• Experience managing Cash Management team and driving performance against KPIs
Experience in process improvement/ optimalization
• Experience with SAP, HFM, MS products, SAC dashboard, Lumera
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or any other equivalent training - desirable but not essential
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate people
