Furthermore, you'll shoulder SRE responsibilities, ensuring the software being developed meets the highest quality standards through rigorous automated testing, QA checks, and meticulous code scans.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership

    • Lead a team of .NET developers and guide them through design, coding, code reviews, and best practices.
    • Make key technical decisions on application architecture, microservices, APIs, and integration.
    • Ensure high-quality delivery by enforcing coding standards, secure development practices, and performance guidelines.
  • Design & Development

    • Design and build enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
    • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
    • Implement business logic for banking modules such as Payments, Lending, Customer Onboarding, Transaction Processing, etc.
    • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Front-End Development

    • Build responsive web applications using Angular/React or similar frameworks.
    • Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.
    • Implement secure coding practices and UI/UX standards.
  • Integration & Architecture

    • Design microservices and integration patterns using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
    • Integrate with external banking APIs, payment gateways, ESB, and internal middleware platforms.
  • Database & Data Management

    • Work with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
    • Write optimized SQL queries and ensure secure data handling in banking environments.
  • DevOps & Delivery

    • Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
    • Implement automated testing using xUnit/NUnit/MSTest.
    • Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
    • Support production releases, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.


Collaborating closely with a dedicated Scrum Master, you'll work together to prioritize the backlog and create user stories that align with the INVEST acronym, thereby building solutions that not only solve technical challenges but also address critical business problems. A solid understanding of Agile Scrum Ceremonies will be instrumental in your success in this role, enabling you to navigate the agile landscape with finesse and deliver exceptional results.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 12+ years of experience working as a Full Stack .NET Developer or Lead Engineer on complex enterprise applications.

  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.

  • Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, Entity Framework Core, LINQ.

  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React).

  • Knowledge of architecture design – Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), messaging queues.

  • Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services.

  • Good understanding of application security, OAuth2/JWT, and secure coding practices.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).

  • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Certification in one or more hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google GCP).

  • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.

  • Familiarity with financial messaging formats: ISO8583, ISO20022, SWIFT.

  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance needs in banking.
