DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct care and supervision to individuals receiving crisis stabilization services
Ensure patient safety through regular safety checks and adherence to individualized care plans
Support a calm, therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and stabilization
Follow established protocols for infection control and patient care standards
Respond appropriately to emergency codes and situations, including de-escalation and crisis intervention
Demonstrate safe and effective techniques for managing aggressive behaviors and special precautions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration efforts
Document observations and communicate effectively with the treatment team
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare assistant or similar direct care role
Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use disorders preferred
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in high-stress situations
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
