The Neighborhood Marketing Manager is to demonstrate, observe and coach the Neighborhood Marketing team to generate appointments using the marketing methodology without compromise. To provide guidance, discipline and consequences to any team member exhibiting negative habits, poor attitude or unacceptable results.

Duties and Responsibilities
● Lead a Neighborhood Marketing team by example, generating leads and demonstrating proper procedures.
● Assemble, manage and maintain the Neighborhood Marketing team in day to day activities and schedules.
● Research, organize and prepare daily canvas areas using a mapping process
● Prepare and maintain vehicles, equipment and clothing ensuring everything is kept clean and ready to use prior to each day’s start or manage someone on the team who will be responsible for these tasks
● Manage and direct Team Leader(s) in daily activities, logistics and coordinate activities.
● Coordinate new class schedules with Human Resources and train all new Neighborhood Marketing team members using approved curriculum. Evaluate new hires and gauge their effectiveness during training, quickly terminating any that don’t demonstrate a good fit for the positions
● Track team goals and prepare all necessary reports including bonus compensations.
● Drive the team, when necessary, safely and efficiently to and from the canvass area
● Ensure the team meets or exceeds production goals by utilizing reports and metric tools.
● Scout territories before canvassing to ensure viability and to plan mapping, drop off and retrieval. Ensure there is another territory ready as a backup in case one or more members need to leave a neighborhood
● Using GroundForce or other means, create a master map daily
● Motivate the team during transport to assigned areas by leading role plays, competitor product differences, and identifying problems with windows and doors in the field.
● Provide continual training on common mistakes and ISC identified issues representation training opportunities to increase the accuracy and quality of leads
● Supervise the Team Leader(s) and personally invest at least one hour with every team member every week.
● Conduct daily safety checks of vehicles, turn in weekly written vehicle inspection reports and put in requests for maintenance as needed. Ensure vehicles are clean and professional at all times.

All Neighborhood Marketing team members must consistently maintain an Hours per Demo average of 10.0 > 12.0 or less. Any employee that has 3 consecutive weeks above 12 hours per demo or greater will be placed back in classroom training until he/she can deliver the script verbatim as required. Following up to 4 hours of retraining, if the script is successfully mastered, the canvasser will be allowed back into the field with a Watch/Set routine. After 2 full days of Watch/Set, performance will be evaluated and next steps determined by the Manager.

Education/Experience
● High School Graduate or equivalent
● Leadership background in field marketing or field sales is helpful.

Certificates and Licenses
● Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license and clean driving record

Hours of Operations:
The Neighborhood Marketing team operates:
12:00 pm - 7:30 pm Tuesday - Friday & Saturday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Summer Hours
11:00 am - 6:30 pm Tuesday - Friday & Saturday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Winter Hours

Each shift will have a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Each employee is expected to be ready to begin work at the designated time. Employees who arrive late or are not ready to work on time will be charged with an occurrence (as defined in the employee handbook).
