Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate NDT Quality Test Specialist - Radiography Test (Level 2 Certification) to join the Tube Duct Reservoir Center team in Algona, Washington.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, conducting, improving, and correcting non-destructive inspection or test techniques, methods, and processes. Your primary focus will be on analyzing data, documenting findings, and effectively communicating results and recommendations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment

  • Develops techniques for radiographic inspection

  • Performs tests or inspections and collects data

  • Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations

  • Provides feedback on adverse trends

  • Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products

  • Provides guidance and supervision to Trainees

  • Ability to set up specialized nondestructive test or measurement equipment

  • Ability to program CNC motion controlled robotic Xray systems

  • Ability to analyze routine test, inspections, or statistical data to determine product conformity

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Current or prior (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 Certification in Radiographic Testing (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training)

  • 1+ years of experience in Radiographic NDE (Non-Destructive Evaluation) techniques and equipment

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Ability to physically lift minimum of 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations as they relate to NDT disciplines, procedures and functions

  • Understanding of basic analysis techniques to determine acceptable or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes

  • Experience with film and/or digital interpretation of welds, braze, swage, and/or casting products

  • Familiarity with CNC motion control programming

  • Experience with conventional film, digital detector array, and/or computed tomography processes

  • A strong ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences and be a self-starter

  • Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations
