You Are:

As a Data & AI Architect in the Defense & Intelligence portfolio at Accenture Federal Services, you will serve as the technical leader responsible for designing, architecting, and solutioning advanced data and AI capabilities for Navy accounts. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with a thorough understanding of the unique systems, platforms, requirements, and workflows within the defense and intelligence community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect complex, mission-critical data and AI solutions
  • Lead and support technical solutioning for high-value opportunities, developing innovative approaches that address client challenges
  • Design scalable, secure, and compliant architectures that integrate with existing defense and intelligence systems
  • Direct the development of new IP, assets, and offerings specifically designed for the Navy market
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure technical excellence in implementation
  • Guide technical modernization strategies for legacy systems while maintaining mission continuity
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Navy technical environments, constraints, and requirements
  • Partner with account teams to build compelling technical proposals and win strategies
  • Mentor and develop technical talent within the Data & AI practice

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced knowledge of data engineering, machine learning operations, and AI platforms
  • Experience with classified cloud environments (e.g., JWICS, C2S, SC2S)
  • Understanding of tactical edge computing requirements and constraints
  • Expertise in secure AI model deployment
  • Experience with mission-specific AI applications such as object detection, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics

Impact & Success Metrics

  • Design and architect solutions that win competitive bids for major defense and intelligence opportunities
  • Develop reusable technical assets that accelerate delivery and enhance capabilities
  • Create innovative offerings that address emerging mission requirements
  • Support positioning of Accenture Federal Services as a technical leader in defense and intelligence AI applications

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, AI development, and solution architecture
  • Active security clearance (TS/SCI required)
  • Extensive hands-on experience in defense and intelligence platforms, systems, and data environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing AI solutions within classified environments
  • Deep understanding of DoD and IC technical requirements, compliance frameworks, and accreditation processes
  • Strong background in data architecture, cloud computing, machine learning, and AI technologies
  • Proven track record of creating innovative technical solutions for complex mission challenges
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts across audiences

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
