National Security Solutions (NSS) Internship - Electronic Warfare Knowledge Graph & AI Analytics

Job Description

KBR is seeking an Electronic Warfare Knowledge Graph & AI Analytics Intern to support unclassified research in knowledge management, AI, and decision support for Test & Evaluation (T&E). This internship focuses on developing a multi-domain EW knowledge graph that connects systems, test facilities, ranges, laboratories, tools, and analysis frameworks into a semantic, queryable structure.

The intern will work with Python-based NLP tools and graph database technologies to ingest unclassified data from public sources and build a prototype semantic search capability for analysts and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an EW-focused ontology and data schema

  • Develop NLP pipelines for entity and relationship extraction

  • Build and populate a graph database with unclassified data

  • Create semantic search and visualization capabilities

  • Deliver a prototype demo, documentation, and roadmap

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

  • Experience with Python programming

  • Interest in AI, data analytics, or knowledge representation

  • Ability to communicate technical results clearly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to NLP, graph databases, or data modeling

  • Interest in electronic warfare or defense systems
