What You Will Do

  • Maintain annual strategic plans, gather sales intelligence for tactical decision making. Ensure accurate sales forecasts for both short and long term. Analyze revenue growth and monitor profit margins and targets
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of Romania organization as a member of the Business Management Team
  • Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets while establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Closely follow all capital investment related activities in the market, ensure Stryker is part of any project, then negotiate and close agreements with large customers/projects
  • Assess profitability on an account-by-account basis to identify and communicate the priority accounts and brands in order to ensure adequate investments
  • Ensure successful implementation of product introductions and projects in the region by sales teams as defined by the Global and Regional market strategy
  • Ensure customer relations and support customer education activities together with Marketing. Interact with Operations and QA/RA on supply chain, strategic affairs and corrective actions as needed
  • Collaborate with peers to optimize core business and create sales culture: Create a sales culture through development and coaching, ensure sound performance management processes, staff succession plans and continuously scout for talent

What You Need

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (management or sales industry related – desirable)
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the medical device sales with minimum 3 years in a people management role
  • Analytical, logical and advanced problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish strategic relationships and partnerships

Preferred

  • MBA
  • Comfortable being in OR environment
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management and capital sale in medical devices or healthcare industry

Travel Percentage: 30%
