National Oncology Solutions Account Director

United States - New York - Remote Full time

The National Oncology Solutions Account Director (OSAD) works across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders to provide customer insights and patient driven solutions that create opportunities with Pfizer Oncology’s largest National and multi-regional account entities. The National OSAD will work most closely with Community NADs to deliver advanced capabilities and solutions, and support NAD/OSAD initiatives where complex HQ support (RC/Legal/Intake approvals) are required.  Additionally, the National OSAD will lead the evolution, development and deployment of future above brand OSAD advanced capabilities and work closely with National KAD TL, brand teams, and OSAD teams to ensure consistent and aligned OSAD support in most critical KAD priorities.

The majority of the National OSAD time will be working directly with internal stakeholders (NADs, KADs, KAD TLs, OSADs, cKADs, HIT, Commercial Dx) and customers to optimize customer engagement that drives incremental value for the customer, Pfizer, and the patient.

Specifically, the National OSAD in Oncology will:

  • Collaborate with NADs and other internal stakeholders to deliver and expand OSAD advanced capabilities and solutions to LPNs, Professional Associations and other National Accounts

  • Support Regional OSAD Advanced Projects / Capabilities through various RC’s, Intake and HIT COE to ensure consistency in approach

  • Support OSAD cross regional and national initiatives for accounts/opportunities that cross multiple regions as well as being OSAD team point for National and Member Organizations (ie. Advisory Board), partnering with Account marketing when appropriate.

  • Evolve, develop and deploy customized capabilities and resources for OSAD team to support advanced engagements that align to customer needs

  • Ensure alignment with Brand Marketing, Account Marketing, KAD TL and OST Lead to prioritize resources and capabilities that meet needs of customer and business

  • Collaborate closely with legal, portfolio marketing, brand marketing and appropriate RCs to develop, support and lead resources and capabilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accelerate and optimize account engagement strategies and tactics that drives incremental value for the account, Pfizer and patient

  • Work with National KAD Lead, OST, NADs, aligned functional teams and key account stakeholders in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating, and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and account / system capabilities

  • Work with cross functional team to develop SOPs and Best Practices for co-creation of content, resources and materials

  • Ensure progress toward customer goals is monitored and plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained

  • National insight generation that informs strategy and optimizes execution and customer engagement

  • Identify national themes, trends and relevant patient management strategies being implemented by Key Accounts that could be spotlighted & replicated at other accounts

  • Partner with Account marketing, RC and 3rd party partners to deliver advanced solutions and capabilities aligned to brand strategy and customer need

  • Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise – specifically for:

    • KAD key areas of focus – Patient ID, SOC, Therapy Management

    • Precision Medicine expertise

    • Critical Account Management (project management + change management)

    • Customer organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management

  • Internal HQ expertise including:

    • Managing 3rd party collaborations

    • Supporting and leading RC approvals when needed in collaboration with portfolio and brand marketing

    • Gaining alignment from internal stakeholders and ability to influencing cross functional partners

    • Innovative and strategic project concept and design

    • Navigating internal HQ processes including RC, Intake and HIT COE

    • Critical Account Management Capabilities (project management + change management)

  • Share best practices across the nation and amongst Pfizer Business Units / aligned functional areas on the use of Brand- and OSAD-created resources that appropriately advances and accelerates account & health system initiatives

  • Lead, develop, and implement account and project plans in partnership with Brand Teams, Business Units, National Accounts, and Onc Team Lead and ensure alignment with National / Enterprise Goals and KPIs

  • Account organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 8+ years pharmaceutical experience

  • 3+ years Oncology key account management experience

  • Core capabilities to advance initiatives and innovate with sizable accounts to improve patient identification, standardization of care adoption and therapy management

  • Prior Advanced Customer Engagement, OSAD, Regional Marketing role or equivalent marketing experience

  • Proactive self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and innovate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in navigating complex RC processes

  • Previous experience in managing national accounts

  • Knowledge of the oncology provider landscape, customers and established internal people and processes

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182,000.00 to $303,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
