National Account Manager

Ready to make an impact? We’re on the hunt for a passionate go-getter to join our thriving Independent Grocery team! Reporting directly to our National Business Manager for Metcash, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact position where you’ll be the key point of contact for Metcash buyers across our juice, dips and cheese categories. If you’re ready to bring your advanced Excel skills, strategic mindset, and passion for building strong customer relationships to a dynamic and growing team, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the achievement of volume and financial growth targets

  • Grow and nurture favourable and effective relationships within Metcash

  • P&L management for the relevant categories

  • Manage promotional programs, slotting and ownership of the promotional tracker

  • Provide accurate and timely input to demand planning/forecasting team 

About you

  • Proven sales and/or account management experience

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

  • Financial acumen and analytical ability

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
