We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Murex Business Analyst / Developer to participate in various strategic projects and business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the FICC market, excellent technical and business functional knowledge of Murex (MX.3.1), and experience in configuring, testing, and deploying innovative solutions in an agile environment.Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning processes within Markets
Capture, specify, and document business requirements
Analyze, configure, test, implement functional changes
Participate in the analysis and implementation of business logic
Discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders
Coordinate and conduct functional testing of new functionalities and bug fixes
Accompany end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Continuously drive and improve the platform
Support and troubleshoot issues raised by business users, including market data, reference static data setup, trade life cycle events, P&L and risk
Troubleshooting of end-of-day processes and batch resolution queries
Reports maintenance (typically business driven, alteration of query conditions)
Support simulation and livebook tools (e.g. P&L and Greeks discrepancies, risk matrices setup, PLVAR , etc.)
Availability for production deployments one weekend per month
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Financial markets, banking or related relevant field
Financial engineering or programming (nice to have)
10+ years of experience in the financial industry, involving Murex
Strong understanding of trading applications front-to-back
Excellent understanding of FX cash, FX options, precious metals, and fixed income products
Profound technical and business functional experience with Murex (MX.3.1), covering FICC modules
Profound understanding of life cycle events, simulation/livebook, P&L, and risks
Good experience with design & configuration of pre-trade rules
Knowledge of Murex Datamart reporting
Good knowledge of Linux operating systems, database/SQL-related queries (Oracle, Sybase)
Able to work autonomously in a global team setup to take on initiative with a positive attitude
Strong analytical skills, able to specify and document requirements
Excellent English both oral and written
