Position Purpose

At Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, specialized care to patients affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) within The Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research. This unique and growing center offers a multidisciplinary approach to MS care, integrating neurology, physiatry, research, urology, neuropsychiatry, and rehabilitative therapy.

What You Will Do

  • Educate patients and families on MS, treatment options, and lifestyle strategies.

  • Administer and monitor infusions, injections, and medications.

  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

  • Engage in professional development and contribute to MS care excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program

  • Valid RN license in Connecticut

  • The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in MS care, with proficiency in IV infusion medications and experience in an ambulatory infusion setting.

Preferred:

  • BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – certification support available post-hire.

Position Highlights

  • Part-Time: 24 hrs/week – Day Shift

  • Monday through Friday schedule – no weekends or holidays

  • Sites of service may include off-site locations

  • Hourly position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95
