Multiomics Sales Specialist - Germany

Multiomics provides an integrated approach to power discovery across multiple levels of biology. By combining data from genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and proteomics, researchers can achieve a more comprehensive understanding of molecular changes contributing to normal development, cellular response, and disease. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Multiomics Sales Specialist to join our innovative commercial team in Germany, embedded in a team of technical, clinical and bioinformatic sales specialists.
The ideal candidates will have a strong background in multiomics technologies such as genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, and/or proteomics.
As a Multiomics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting our comprehensive suite of multiomics products and services to academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and healthcare within the German subregion.
We are looking for a candidate who specializes in either spatial transcriptomics, or single cell analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver the multiomics commercial sales budget for Germany.
Develop and implement a strategic four-year plan tailored for the multiomics business within the commercial segment, including new business sectors and Large National Genomic Initiatives (LNGI) opportunities.
Expand and nurture the network of service providers dedicated to our newly launched multiomics products.
Educate the commercial team on the value propositions of multiomics, enhancing their understanding and expertise in the field.
Partner with multiomics companies who use Illumina NGS for read out.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance to help them navigate the complexities of multiomics and pharmacomultiomics to achieve their scientific objectives.
Stay updated on emerging trends in multiomics to shape effective sales strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, medical affairs and service and support to develop KOL and customers to meet budget commitments and to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
Identify, approach and assess new business opportunities and sales leads, also and in particular in unmapped business areas, cultivate new business prospects, and develop robust relationships with key decision-makers within the multiomics community.
Conduct comprehensive product presentations and consultative discussions to demonstrate the value proposition of our integrated multiomics.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility, establish thought leadership, and engage with potential customers.

Applies advanced wide-ranging experience and professional knowledge to provide solutions in creative and effective ways.
Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas. Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines.
Works on complex assignments where problem solving requires in-depth evaluation of varying factors and practices/procedures must be determined.
Adapts style to differing audiences and frequently advises others on complex matters that relate to the wider business and require persuasion.
May train and mentor colleagues.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Maintain accurate records on SFDC.
Qualifications:
Strong background in multiomics - genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics and/or proteomics, with a specialization on either a) proteomics, b) spatial transcriptomics, or c) single cell analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset, with a passion for omics technologies.
Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, articulate value propositions, and drive sales engagements.
Ability to work independently, to prioritize tasks, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, molecular biology, or a related field required; PhD is a plus.
Willingness to travel within Germany as needed, 50/60% travel on average is required.
Fluency in business English and German required.
