Position Summary:
The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Multimedia Specialist I in Boca Raton, FL.

The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multimedia Specialist I to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Multimedia and Innovation, you will join a high-energy, collaborative team dedicated to producing high-quality online course content. From virtual production studio recordings to innovative AI-assisted post-production, your work will directly impact the learner's experience.
Production & Technical Execution:
End-to-End Production: Manage all phases of video production, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing for diverse multimedia projects.
Field & Studio Operations: Conduct on-location and studio recordings; manage the transportation, setup, and teardown of equipment.
AI Workflow Integration: Proactively research and implement generative AI tools (text-to-video, AI voiceovers, image generation) to streamline production timelines and enhance visual storytelling.
Technical Support: Troubleshooting computer hardware and video production tools to ensure seamless project delivery.
Training & Facilitation: Develop and lead both live and pre-recorded training sessions for staff and faculty.
Media Accessibility: Manage content embedding, network share organization, and the processing of captions to ensure accessibility standards are met.
Collaboration & Customer Support:
Collaborate with the instructional design team to conceptualize creative solutions for complex learning needs.
Remain adaptable to a fast-paced, frequently changing environment, taking on other duties as assigned by leadership.
Provide expertise and consultation on multimedia best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies to faculty and staff.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
