Multimedia Designer

As a Multimedia Designer, you will be working at the intersection of visual design, animation, and interactive technology across various media channels to effectively reach Broad Arrow Auctions, Capital, and Private Sales target audiences. You will design engaging assets—illustrations, animations, UI elements, banners, icons, and layouts—for printed materials, websites, apps, social media, and marketing campaigns, while upholding the brand guidelines, across the marketing mix for the various Broad Arrow companies globally.

What you’ll do

  • Design and produce not only traditional media assets including print, but a large focus on HTML5 digital assets and emails, including banners, interactive ads, and micro-experiences.
  • Create compelling motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and video content.
  • Develop high-quality After Effects compositions, incorporating typography, illustration, 3D elements, and transitions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to concept and execute design projects.
  • Adapt existing design systems to create consistent cross-platform visual experiences.
  • Optimize creative files for performance and quality across various media formats.
  • Stay current on design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies.
  • Leverage design skills to influence layout decisions that resonate with the target audience.

This might describe you

  • Strong professional experience in digital design, motion graphics, or multimedia.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate.
  • Demonstrated experience creating HTML5 ad units and interactive digital content.
  • Ability to storyboard concepts and translate ideas into dynamic visual executions.
  • Campaign experience with delivering assets for web, mobile, and digital advertising.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing print, motion, animation, and HTML5 design work.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback

Other things to note

  • This position is open to U.S. remote work. However, team members who reside within 20 miles of the Traverse City headquarters will follow a hybrid schedule, working from the office three days per week.
  • May require travel for quarterly events.
  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
