A DAY IN THE LIFE

Supports company branding and design through multiple medias and platforms by working closely with the design team to create and design dynamic, branded content. Collaborates with team members to provide general creative support to Blattner.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Assists with designing content for multi-channel, dynamic marketing needs to support Marketing and Communication’s efforts and goals.
  • Assists with and learns how to create and produce high quality marketing materials such as banners, infographics, signage, and web and social media graphics. Partners cross departmentally to develop illustrations, program branding, and other content for print, digital, web, and interactive advertisements.
  • Partner with MarCom team to create materials from concept to execution; ensure ideas and creative direction are clearly communicated.
  • Assists with photoshoots on project sites and at the corporate office with external and internal photographers and videographers, helping with people, schedules, props and spaces to ensure Blattner is represented accurately and creative direction is fulfilled.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Fine Art Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Design, Mass Communications or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Advertising, Marketing, or closely related field required.
  • Graphic design planning, concepting and execution, understanding of design, print and digital marketing principles. An interest in B2B, internal marketing and branding, and digital asset management experience preferred.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Portfolio demonstrating an understanding of design principles and typography
  • Ability to ideate, design and produce digital and print collateral
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond to feedback
  • Comfortable balancing creative work with administrative and operational tasks
  • Experience placing and managing branded merchandise orders through ecommerce and vendor platforms preferred.

$18.00 - $22.50 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
