The Multimedia Coordinator is responsible for managing the firm's efforts to produce high-quality, engaging multimedia content, with a focus on video and podcast production and editing. The Multimedia Coordinator is responsible primarily for multimedia (video and podcast) production, and will also contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, video shoots, and other on-site event support of multimedia functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Execute video pre-production, production, and post-production processes to develop firm multimedia content.

  • Capture/edit video content to support firm strategy, educate & inform clients and firm personnel, support events and webinars, and other purposes as assigned/needed.

  • Collaborate with internal clients and colleagues during the pre-planning process for all assigned projects.

  • Prep video participants for optimal recording and provide guidance and direction during shoots.

  • Utilize AI strategies to improve production quality and efficiency.

  • Manage and utilize firmwide video distribution and publishing platforms in coordination with other team members.

  • Collaborate with outside media production vendors for projects as needed.

  • Coordinate the delivery, distribution, and archiving of multimedia projects.

  • Actively investigate new technology and trends relevant to multimedia and stay up to date on best practices.

  • Assist on site with video shoots and firm events as needed

  • Produce a range of engaging and compelling podcast series and episodes.

  • Coordinate podcast pre-production, production, and post-production processes, including planning, scheduling, directing recordings, and editing.

  • Ensure content, length, tone, style, and other requirements are satisfied on a project basis and facilitate communication and alignment among team members and internal clients.

  • Prep podcast participants for optimal recording and provide guidance and direction during recordings.

  • Coordinate the distribution of equipment.

  • Coordinate production communications with Partners, IT, Marketing, and Business Development teams.

  • Coordinate the delivery, distribution, and archiving of podcast projects.

  • Oversee firmwide audio distribution and publishing platforms.

  • Actively investigate new technology and trends relevant to podcasts and stay up to date on best practices.

  • Manage and prioritize workload to ensure timely delivery of high-quality campaigns and content.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Detail oriented. Willing to learn production tools, techniques, and equipment to record and edit firm content.

  • Ability to learn and understand brand and firm compliance.

  • Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop. Knowledge of other related software, such as Lightroom and Illustrator.

  • Possess a basic understanding of acoustics and digital editing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to take the initiative, solve problems, prioritize, and complete assignments accurately and promptly.

  • Ability to balance creativity with technology in order to quickly, accurately, and efficiently produce high-quality work.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Understanding of creative processes. Ability to technically execute a creative vision or storyboard.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and put people at ease during recordings. 

  • Basic knowledge of the application and role of multimedia content in marketing and communications organizations, with emphasis on digital, social media, and content marketing best practices.

  • Ability to be flexible with schedule and maintain a sense of humor in high-pressure situations.

  • High degree of judgment and fiscal responsibility.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree; education, training, and experience that supports performing core responsibilities of the role may be considered.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a multimedia production role, working as a member of a high-functioning team. 

  • Law firm or professional services experience beneficial.

  • Experience with asset management tools, practices, and workflows for archiving.

  • Experience utilizing AI for content development and process efficiency.

Hiring Salary Range:

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00
