About Southfields Veterinary Specialists

Southfields Veterinary Specialists is a leading multidisciplinary referral hospital providing advanced veterinary care across a wide range of specialist and emergency services. As part of the Linnaeus Group, Southfields is recognised for its clinical excellence, collaborative culture, and commitment to ongoing learning and innovation.

Our state-of-the-art facilities and highly experienced clinical teams allow us to deliver outstanding patient care while supporting the continued development of our nursing team. Nurses at Southfields are highly valued, fully utilised, and encouraged to pursue specialist interests within a supportive referral environment.

You will work as part of our large, multi-disciplinary team, consisting of consultants, residents, interns, nurses and Patient Care Assistants (PCA), to care for a large and varied referral and emergency caseload. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require teamwork and dedication to each service and their patients.

Our multidisciplinary RVNs support with patient care and medical and surgical interventions across our wide range of services including, but not limited to, internal medicine, neurology, diagnostic imaging, inpatient care, oncology, surgery and anaesthesia. This is an exciting and diverse role that provides the opportunity to contribute to all our clinical services, with encouragement and support to upskill in a particular area of interest.

Experience and an enjoyment of anaesthesia would be advantageous, however full training and support will be provided.

You will work a range of shifts between 7am and 8.30pm and 2:8 weekends with time off in lieu following.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, eager to learn, and ready to be part of a collaborative, supportive team. You will be a strong communicator, solution-focused, and enthusiastic about developing new skills while helping others grow too.

Previous referral experience would be a bonus but is not essential. We will provide full training and support to help you thrive in your role and feel confident every step of the way.
