Responsibilities:
- You will have overall responsibility for availability and operational effectiveness of all production and site services equipment, conducting reactive and proactive maintenance.
- You will Schedule planned maintenance tasks and complete as planned, always keeping plant and infrastructure in good working order.
- You will improve site operational effectiveness and downtime reduction by implementing agreed improvement plans in line with KPI’s.
- You will work as a team on technical best practice and establish related policies and procedures.
- You will Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting and updating changes to training, working practices and procedures.
- You will promote the use and development of route cause analysis and condition-based monitoring methodologies.
- You will communicate well with all stakeholders and build positive relationships with colleagues.
- You will develop a detailed understanding of production processes and machine operation through training and self-learning so faults can be diagnosed and rectified efficiently.
- You will autonomously self-initiate and assign technical activities in support of new products, processes, applications or technologies.
- You will Supervise, work alongside and control contractor activities
Qualifications:
- A recognised electrical & / OR Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- GCSE in Math’s and English
