An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Materials Resource Planning Controller within the Defence Assembly Repair and Overhaul team. The role will be based in the Defence Aerospace Operations Facility in Bristol. As an MRPC, you will play a crucial role in an integrated operations team, planning and executing the delivery of critical customer requirements. The successful candidate will need to have a strong customer management focus, a proven track record in project delivery and the ability to operate in a complex environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing and coordinating delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan. Managing the impact and escalating issues as required.
  • Creating and maintaining a product kit plan in line with the MS8 process
  • Ensure that all necessary mitigation actions are being pro-actively managed and coordinated cross functionally to minimise customer disruption.

Position qualifications:

  •  Supply chain and/or Planning and control experience
  • Good knowledge of the Defence MRO business with experience of the MRO business
  • Strong understanding of and ability to use SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a clear communicator.
  • Highly organised with the ability to change pace and direction in response to emergent supply challenges
