Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, located in Charlottesville, Virginia is hiring a Full Time MRI Technologist II.
Up to a $30,000 Sign On Bonus to qualified candidate successfully hired.
You will perform general MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Perform MR Tech I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: competency in Breast biopsy and/or Prostate biopsy, dual modality MR/CT Tech, or Hospital Based/Standing ED. Knowledge in: Radiologic Technology, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Sonography, or Radiation Therapy
In our department we have three MRI Tesla magnets. We are accredited by The American College of Radiology (ACR). We perform approximately 400 MRIs per month.

Trade School Graduate
Certification/Licensure
One of the following is acceptable at time of hire: CNMT, NMTCB, ARRT-MR, ARMRIT, RDMS, ARDMS
