The Opportunity:
Location: HMAS Albatross, Nowra NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Mission Planning capability across Australian Defence Force (ADF) aviation platforms. In this position, you will apply your specialist Field Service Representative expertise to provide trusted operational and technical support, ensuring the safe and effective use of advanced Mission Planning tools.
You will engage with stakeholders at all levels—within the ADF, across the company and with national and international partners—to deliver clear advice, practical recommendations, and leadership across key Mission Planning activities. Your work will contribute to the development, enhancement and implementation of Mission Planning systems, software, equipment and operational procedures.
This role offers the chance to provide high-value advisory and consultancy support on highly specialised Mission Planning software, hardware, and operating practices. You will work alongside skilled professionals and end-users from junior operators to senior decision-makers, helping shape future capability and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:
Ensure supported Mission Planning Systems and Electronic Flight Bag hardware and software is available for use by the clients IAW IC3SPO direction.
Provide Mission Planning Systems and Electronic Flight Bag Support to Headquarters Fleet Air Arm and associated units.
Provide Mission Planning Systems and Electronic Flight Bag technical support, advice and guidance to KBR in support of the contract.
All support requests made directly to the FSR are actioned within 24 hours, where actioned means that action has commenced to resolve their query, issue; or other support needs.
Assist in the acquisition, preparation, packaging and distribution of AIRAC / Mission related data to all supported Mission Planning Systems / Electronic Flight Bags.
Geospatial requests and updates are distributed in a timely manner to meet the client’s needs.
Provide Unit level support and guidance for Mission Planning Systems and Electronic Flight Bag related hardware and software tools.
Maintain administrative responsibilities IAW KBR policy, including but not limited to Workday Goals and Milestones.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Military Aviation Operations and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge Aviation Operations relevant to the supported region.
Demonstrated high level knowledge of ADF Aviation Mission Planning Systems (Joint Mission Planning Systems) and Electronic Flight Bag tools and applicable software elements.
Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in MS Office, Win 10 / 11 & XML.
Knowledge of ADF Command and Support systems.
Minimum AGSVA NV1 clearance.
