Job Description Summary

The Move Coordinator plays a key role in supporting workplace operations by coordinating and executing internal moves, space setups, and event preparations. This position ensures workspaces are organized, functional, and aligned with company standards. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and execute internal office moves, furniture placements, and workstation setups according to floor plans and move schedules.

  • Assemble, stage, and organize furniture and fixtures (chairs, tables, shelving, etc.) as directed — no power tool or construction work required.

  • Support event setup and teardown, including arranging furniture, signage, and general space preparation.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms, move equipment, and furniture inventory areas.

  • Assist in labeling, tagging, and tracking furniture and equipment during moves or reconfigurations.

  • Support the Facilities team with small-scale logistics tasks such as delivering supplies, posting room signage, or updating workspace layouts.

  • Communicate move schedules, milestones, and post-move punch lists to key stakeholders.

  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure all moves and events are completed safely and on time.

  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure all common areas and workspaces are reset to standard after moves or events.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $36.85 - $43.348374
