Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Mountain Host Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Mountain Host Manager in leading the mountain host department in fulfilling the company’s goal of providing the Deer Valley Difference in collaboration with the rest of the DV team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continually evaluate the Mountain Host offerings and provide thoughtful improvements using the Three Circle Model as a guide
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating mountain host staff
Assist is scheduling guest tours in the winter
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory or management experience required
Expert level of technical skiing skill required
Thorough knowledge of the Deer Valley Resort - including on-mountain services, ski trails, and lifts
Knowledge of historical and local offerings in Park City and the surrounding community
Appropriate physical condition. Able to ski up to 8 hours a day and be able to lift 35 lbs.
Experience with Microsoft Office platforms. Specifically, Word, Excel, and Forms

PAY:
$25/hr
