  • Manage all planned and scheduled maintenance tasks, eliminating delays caused by missing information, materials, tools, skills, or equipment.

  • Validate required labour hours, materials, tools, and resources for PM, CM, and other maintenance activities across all equipment sections.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and corporate requirements for all maintenance plans—internal or executed by contractors.

  • Ensure all work adheres to all required technical and EH&S specifications.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date KPIs, actions, and relevant reporting for all stakeholders.

Preventive Maintenance Optimization

  • Support the development and optimization of preventive maintenance strategies to meet safety, regulatory, reliability, and budgetary goals.

  • Monitor and control key performance indicators such as recorded hours, planning index, schedule adherence, backlog levels, and maintenance cost trends.

  • Identify and initiate improvements in maintenance frequency, duration, and resource allocation.

Tooling & Equipment Management

  • Review, improve, and maintain written maintenance procedures for all mould tools, including checklists and interval definitions.

  • Review, update, and rationalise Bills of Materials (BOMs) for mould tooling and machines, simplifying where possible.

  • Determine and maintain correct spare part stock levels in SAP, including ordering and vendor coordination.

  • Plan, specify, and implement tooling and toolroom process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

  • Ensure all existing and new tooling processes and equipment comply with Quality Control, Health & Safety, and Environmental legislation.

  • Maintain tooling drawings and documentation to the latest revision and ensure controlled storage in the designated system (e.g., M‑drive).

Technical Support & Collaboration

  • Coach, mentor, and train toolroom associates in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving for mould tooling issues.

  • Participate in mould tool Factory Acceptance Trials (as required).

  • Collaborate with Process Engineers to improve tooling performance and Own the PM planning for assigned product groups.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

  • Source obsolete or hard-to-find parts using alternative suppliers, reconditioned components, or equivalent substitutes that meet specifications.

  • Forecast parts demand for planned maintenance tasks, ensuring timely availability of critical components.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of parts usage, stock levels, and future demand.

  • Control parts-related expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimise spare parts lifecycle management.

  • Maintain zero stock-outs through dynamic part availability updates and inventory control.

  • Use performance metrics (OEE,ZM01 & ZM03, unplanned downtime, repair costs) to drive inventory and planning strategies.

About you:

  • Achieved a Level 3 qualification in Mechatronics or similar subject.
