Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Motor Vehicle Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Ability to Lead or Supervise - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. To meet the screen out element, applicants should document experience or show the ability to do the following: skill in workforce planning, training and employee development, administrative and employee management, and operation of motor vehicles. Prioritize workload based off future deadlines, identifying training needs, and operating the full range of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Lead or Supervise Administration and Management Operation of Motor Vehicles Planning and Evaluating Training and Employee Development Physical Effort Required: Performs work on hard surfaces and in work areas that require the worker to stand, stoop, bend, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Work at a rapid pace for long periods of time. Moderate physical effort is used in operating hand and foot controls when driving, turning, stopping and starting the forklifts and motor vehicles and in raising, lowering and tilting the forklift loads. Working Conditions: Subject to working out-of-doors during periods of inclement weather. Is exposed to serious injuries while operating vehicles over public roads and on the installation. Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas. May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc., resulting in bruises, cuts, burns, and skin irritation. Wearing of hearing protection and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
