Job Summary: This position is for a Motor Vehicle Operator in the transportation section of Health Administration Service, located at the West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System. The purpose of this position is to operate patient transport vehicles, including emergency vehicles, patient transport vans/buses and other types transport vehicles to and from VA Medical Center facilities.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: As a Motor Vehicle Operator, you must use sound judgment; maintain mental and physical poise. Incumbent must handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance. May assist on an infrequent basis, medical personnel or staff in the transfer of litter patients to and from beds and litters, and the loading and unloading of patients to and from litter vans. Tasks often require physical exertion such as walking, turning, stooping, bending, etc.
