Mortgage Operations are a group of busy teams. They manage the day-to-day relationships with Mortgage Advisers (Brokers) and enjoy assessing varied and complex lending applications.
Working across boundaries as one team, they aim to be agile in anticipating customer needs and leading the market through service excellence. They have a track record in developing and promoting their people and they like to have fun.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing loan applications, analysing customer information to support responsible lending decisions.
Delivering high quality and accurate output, meeting all compliance, policy and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring a seamless flow from receipt of the loan referral to the acceptance offer, maintaining a commitment to all service levels.
Continuously looking for ways to improve processes, and how we operate, contributing to a high performing team focused on delivering operational excellence and a strong customer service culture.

Excellent customer service skills are a must, and you will also know the ins and outs of complex home loan, residential and construction lending. No loan application is ever the same, so with your knowledge of credit policies and lending requirements, you will also have:
Energy, passion and a positive outlook
Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
Proven lending experience in residential and construction lending
Highly developed attention to detail, focused on right first time and quality outputs
Ability to prioritise work activities, completing a variety of tasks within short timeframes
