Job Summary:

The Mortgage Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for performing Loan Reviews, Loan Pricing Reviews and other routine audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan application and to support the bank in ensuring pricing compliance with all State and Federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Reviews lock request for compliance with pricing requirements and basic underwriting requirements

  • Communicates and follows up on any corrections needed to lock requests and other pricing requests

  • Ensure Portfolio and Consumer loans are locked on the correct rate sheet

  • Uploads pricing exceptions to the loan file with the correct pricing exception authority

  • Processes requests for restructures to Portfolio and Consumer loans to ensure correct rate sheet, correct.

  • Performs monthly self-audits on Portfolio and Consumer loans were locked correctly

  • Completes mandatory compliance trainings by due date.

  • Daily reports are constructed and sent out

  • Prepares Excel reports.

  • Works with team members from Underwriting, Processing, Closing, and Post-Closing Departments.

  • Performs testing on loans for the company to ensure disclosures are correct

  • Attends IT meetings to keep up to date with system changes

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 2 yrs. of College OR one year of Mortgage / Financial experience
