Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
M&E system design & planning
- Lead development and validation of M&E plan and project logframe.
- Support development of performance monitoring indicators and targets aligned with programme logframes and donor requirements. Align indicators with national systems (Horizon, IMPAQ, DHIMS2, and other PMISe-tracker as well as internal PMIS) and project outcomes.
- Establish project-level information management system and database.
- Support programme teams to integrate gender, equity, and inclusion (GESI) indicators in M&E systems.
- Provide technical support and coaching to programme and partner staff on M&E concepts, tools, and systems.
- Collaborate with other technical teams (Finance, Communications, Grants, Programme Effectiveness) to ensure alignment of M&E data with programme goals.
Routine monitoring, data management & field supervision
- Coordinate routine data collection, verification, and consolidation from national, regional, and district structures
- Lead monitoring visits, supportive supervision, and data quality audits
- Coordinate phased scale-up of integrated home visit register across 3 regions and ensure data upload into DHIMS2
- Manage and update indicator tracking sheets/dashboard.
- Conduct regular data quality assessments (DQA) and provide feedback for performance improvement.
Evaluation, learning and documentation
- Lead baseline, midline, and endline surveys (planning, implementation, analysis)
- Support development of manuscripts and publications (integrated NTD home visit digitalization, NHIS inclusion and integration into Primary Health Care (CHPS))
- Support in organizing quarterly reflection/review meetings.
Communication Reporting, visibility, and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual M&E reports for WVG/WVUS MoH/GHS, and donors.
- Support ICCC, NTDP and project manager during stakeholder meetings, advocacy sessions and NTD Day/UHC Day events.
- Work closely with WV Communications Department on the development of draft blogs, success stories, briefs for review and dissemination on relevant media platforms (Facebook, twitter, websites etc).
- Develop powerpoint presentations relating to specific activities assigned by Project Manager
- Knowledge Management / Learning: Document lessons, success stories, case studies, and learning briefs.
Procurement & Financial Management
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of disbursement and procurement requests for project activity implementation
- Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure that input supplies and other materials are procured/delivered in a timely manner.
Spiritual Leadership

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- 3+ years of M&E experience in health or NGO programming
- Proven experience designing M&E systems, tools, and indicator tracking matrices
- Experience in DHIMS2/e-Tracker, digital data collection (CommCare, KoboToolbox)
- Experience conducting baseline/endline surveys and data quality audits.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Public health, Statistics, Development Studies, Health Information Systems or related field.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Master/MPhil in Public Health (MPH) is a strong advantage
- Experience working with Ministry of Health/GHS, NTD programs or similar donor-funded health projects
- Knowledge of MEAL frameworks, logframes, and evidence generation/publishing.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Work Environment Requirement
National Office Position Based in Accra
Travel: 20% Domestic/ (field monitoring visits, regional trainings)
On call: 10%
Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to rural districts and CHPS zones
Language Requirements
Effective in written and verbal communication in English
