The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of our engineering team, you will be a custodian of the “single source of truth” for our customers. You will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation’s defense.

Required skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Working knowledge of principles and practices related to systems engineering
Strong communication and organizational skills
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with MBSE, SysML, and digital engineering tools; including Cameo/MagicDraw
Experience with integrating analytical/simulation tools with MBSE tools
Experience with software engineering and integrating different software platforms/tools
Experience with systems integration, system engineering concepts, and systems modeling
Experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use-cases
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in supporting government customers
Experience with C++ and / or Python
Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processes
Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processes
Knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practices
Master’s degree in an engineering field
Current security clearance
