Mobile Screening Outreach Coordinator

Seeking a dynamic and organized Outreach Coordinator to support and promote our Mobile Lung Screening CT program. This role builds partnerships with community groups, rural organizations, and industrial employers to expand access to life‑saving screenings. Responsibilities include coordinating mobile CT events, generating new business opportunities, maintaining partner relationships, educating the community, and keeping accurate program records.

Schedule: Full‑time salaried (40 hours), primarily Monday–Friday with flexibility for occasional weekends or off‑hours events and 3rd‑shift outreach.

Ideal Candidate: Strong communicator, relationship‑builder, detail‑oriented, and passionate about improving access to preventive care. Outreach, marketing, or community health experience preferred.

Make an Impact: Help bring lung screening directly to underserved and rural populations and reduce barriers to early detection.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates with physician's practices to provide screening and early detection referrals.
  • Investigates grant sources for patient assistance for mammogram, breast ultrasound, and breast biopsy.
  • Educates women about Breast Health including self-breast examination, the importance of clinical examinations, and mammography.
  • Works with the Marketing Department to increase the sites for the Mobile Mammography Coach.
  • Provides educational programs to the Latina population about Breast Cancer Awareness.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for outreach through businesses and school systems and performs demographic assessment for information about potential sources of customer base and growing areas in the community.
  • Maintains the Be a Champion and Campeones en el Cuidado de los Senos Programs by providing continuing education and educational materials for the champions.
  • Organizes and facilitates the annual Breast Care Champion Symposium.
  • Collaborates with the Breast Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide Breast Health Education via a monthly Mammogram Party.
  • Maintains the Mobile Outreach Calendar.


Physical Requirements
Frequent movement throughout the hospital campus and to off-site activities. Frequent periods of standing, sitting, walking and bending. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of weight.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other related healthcare field required. MSN or MPH with oncology background preferred. Bi-lingual preferred. CPR and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required.
