Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Outreach Services Program Manager, drives the Mobile Health Unit (MHU) to locations across South Carolina to provide patient registration services for individuals seeking access to screening services on the MHU. Facilitates accurate and timely completion of registration paperwork; handles incoming and outgoing communication, process orders, maintain accurate charts and records, implements new/revised clerical policies and procedures. Performs all related duties to ensure effective operation of the MHU. Serves as the MHU patient educator and community liaison.

Job Description

The Mobile Health Unit (MHU) Access & Field Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in expanding access to healthcare across South Carolina by ensuring the seamless delivery of mobile screening services. This multifaceted position combines transportation, equipment oversight, patient engagement, community outreach, and operational leadership to strengthen the impact and sustainability of the MHU program.

Under the supervision of the Cancer ICCE Business Operations Manager, the Coordinator oversees daily MHU field operations and logistics, including travel coordination, scheduling, patient registration, and vehicle maintenance. Beyond logistics, the Coordinator serves as a frontline community ambassador—assisting in patient education, building partnerships, and identifying opportunities for program growth in underserved areas.

Additional Job Description

Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree and one year work experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 to 4 years work experience.
