What You Will Do:
As a Mission Advancement Senior, you will guide Defense and Security clients through complex change initiatives in the mission space, helping them identify, evaluate, and solve their most challenging problems to achieve strategic goals and fulfill their mission. You will collaborate with research scientists, data engineers, and intelligence analysts to develop and acquire innovative analytic tools and technologies, applying strong analytical skills to design effective solutions in dynamic, high-pressure environments. Intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive in a high operational tempo setting are essential, as is leveraging your working knowledge of AI capabilities—including computer vision, Generative AI, and multi-modal models—to inform mission-driven solutions. You will engage directly with senior client leadership while enhancing your expertise in technical competency, business development, client service, leadership, project management, and people development, working independently or as part of a team of highly skilled professionals to deliver impactful outcomes in a fluid and evolving project landscape.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance.
Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a (COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum THREE (3) years of relevant experience
Experience collaborating with research scientists, data engineers, and/or intelligence analysts to develop and acquire new analytic tools and technologies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop effective solutions in dynamic and high-pressure situations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration among diverse teams
Intellectual curiosity and an ability to succeed and win in a high-op tempo environment are essential traits
Working knowledge of AI capabilities including the differences between computer vision, Generative AI, and multi-modal models
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Expert knowledge of the DoD and IC policy apparatus for AI, to include knowledge of relevant national security memorandums, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and roles and responsibilities of component-level Chief AI Officers (CAIO)
Working knowledge of software capabilities and DevSecOps processes for the development, testing, and evaluation of capabilities
Working knowledge of the transition process from rapid capabilities to operations and sustainment in the DoD or IC
Working knowledge of agile methodologies and / or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
