The Role

As a Middleware Platform Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of middleware platforms that enable enterprise integration, messaging, applications, and business processes. In this role, you will manage critical middleware environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across production systems.

You will work with application servers, messaging platforms, BPM solutions, and integration technologies that support business-critical operations. Your work will directly contribute to stable service delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in complex and highly available environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and operate middleware platforms supporting integration, messaging, applications, and business processes in enterprise environments.

  • Manage, configure, and support application and web servers to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.

  • Provide operational support for messaging, integration, BPM, and automation platforms, including monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Execute deployments, configuration changes, patches, and upgrades following ITIL best practices and change management processes.

  • Support critical, high-availability environments under defined SLAs, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years of experience supporting or administering middleware platforms in enterprise environments.

  • Experience with application and web servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server / Liberty, Tomcat, IIS, Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, IBM HTTP Server, or Oracle HTTP Server.

  • Experience with messaging and integration platforms including IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS, and Confluent Kafka (Enterprise, connectors, Control Center).

  • Exposure to BPM and process automation platforms such as TIBCO BPM/BusinessWorks, Pega Infinity, Red Hat Process Automation Manager (jBPM), or IBM Business Automation tools.

  • Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and supporting high-availability, SLA-driven production environments.

  • Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting SOA-based integration, APIs, and authorization gateways.

  • Exposure to database integrations and data tools such as SSIS, QueryIT, or technical repositories.

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, operational runbooks, and audit support processes.

  • Strong documentation skills and attention to standardization and compliance.
