The Role

As a Middleware Platform Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of enterprise middleware platforms that enable application integration, messaging, business processes, and critical services. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and availability of middleware environments that support mission‑critical business operations.

You will work in complex, high‑availability environments, collaborating with cross‑functional technical teams to manage integrations, automate processes, troubleshoot incidents, and implement changes following ITIL best practices. Your work will play a key role in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise integration services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and operate middleware platforms for application integration, messaging, and business process automation in enterprise environments.

  • Manage application and web servers and ensure stable, secure, and high‑availability operations.

  • Support and maintain messaging, streaming, and integration platforms, ensuring reliable data flow across systems.

  • Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of middleware components in production environments under defined SLAs.

  • Execute deployments, configuration changes, patches, and upgrades following ITIL practices, maintaining accurate technical documentation and audit support.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise middleware platforms in production environments.

  • Hands‑on experience with application and web servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server / Liberty, Tomcat, IIS, Apache, Nginx, or equivalent.

  • Experience with messaging and integration platforms including IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS, and Confluent Kafka (Connectors and Control Center).

  • Experience supporting BPM and process automation platforms such as TIBCO BPM/iProcess/BusinessWorks, Pega, Red Hat PAM (jBPM), or IBM BAMOE.

  • Solid experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in high‑availability, SLA‑driven environments.

  • Experience executing deployments, configuration changes, patches, and upgrades following ITIL best practices.

  • Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAK) or similar certification.

  • IBM Certified Solution Implementer – WebSphere MQ or equivalent.

  • Experience working in regulated or mission‑critical enterprise environments.
