Position Summary:
Summary of Responsibilities:
Identify and apply relevant educational research-based instructional strategies in order to develop engaging and differentiated lessons, assignments and assessments.
Utilize relevant technology and resources for optimal engagement and differentiation.
Provide timely, appropriate, and actionable feedback to students.
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
Maintain and utilize accurate and comprehensive documentation and evidence of students' progress and development.
Support student science events and competitions, as needed.
Support student development of science fair projects.
Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Manage student behavior through positive behavior interventions and support.
Support social-emotional strategies to facilitate student development in self and social awareness and responsible decision-making.
Participate and engage in professional learning that supports professional growth and collaboration with colleagues.
Participate in lab school initiatives that inform instructional practices, instructional materials and resources.
Engage in research activities to further the school’s mission and to generate advancements in science education and in teaching and learning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
